What is PAN card ?
PAN card stands for Permanent Account Number (PAN) which can indicated by ten-digit alphanumeric number. You can get this PAN card in the format of laminated card which is issuing by the Income Tax Department in India.
Everyone should have PANnumber who want to save their income tax returns, this PAN card method was started from 2005 onwards, which was made by Income Tax Department which help to file our income details, that showing the income tax authority of one country.
you should have PAN Card for states the financial transactions for Central Board of Direct Taxes, for example sale and purchase of immovable property or motor vehicle or payments in cash, that has some limits for hotels and restaurants, or in connection with travel to any foreign country.

How to apply for a PAN ?
The Income Tax Department has created some simply procedure to applying for a PAN card which is comfortable for everyone.
Just we have to submit the Application Form No. 49A to the department, that all. we can easily download the PAN application from the website of UTI Investor Services Ltd (the authorised agency to manage IT PAN service Centres in various cities) or from the website of National Securities Depository Ltd (NSDL) or printed by local printers or photocopied (on A4 size 70 GSM paper) or obtained from any other source. you can get the PAN card form from IT PAN Service Centres and TIN Facilitation Centres.
You have attach your recent colour photograph (stamp size: 3.5 cm x 2.5 cm) with the PAN card application form. Don't forget to mention the required designation and code of the concerned Assessing Officer of the Income Tax department in PAN card Form ( FORM 49A). you have to submit the address proof of identity as well as a proof of residence.
After filling application form then you have to submit the PAN CARD form to nearest IT PAN Service Centre orTIN Facilitation Centre with the required fee, I think that the fees is only 100 rupees.
