Campus interviewis the recruitment process done in every college for the final year students. The final year students in the college will be conducted placement test by the companies. The company recruits talented students and offer jobs in their company. The campus interview has different phases such as written test, group discussion, technical round and personal interview. One should clear all the above mentioned rounds to get placed in that company. There are two types of campus interview they are on campus interview and off campus interview.

On campus interviewis the recruitment process in which the students of the same college will be recruited and off campus is the recruitment process in which the students of different college and passed out students will be recruited. There are some tactics to be followed to get placed in a company. A candidate or a student should have the following qualifications to attend the placement they are communication skill, creative thinking, aptitude solving tendency and percentage of marks. Some people will have all the above capability but they are not able to face the campus drive because they may have lack of confidence. Prepare for Aptitude

·         In most of the companies aptitude is the first level of recruitment process.
·         Aptitude test is conducted to test the candidate’s problem solving technique, way of approach and time management.
·         You should clear the first level of recruitment so that you can get into further process.
·         You should prepare for the aptitude test from your first year onwards. You should practice aptitude regularly to attend all the sections in your aptitude test.
·         Time management is an important factor in aptitude test. You should learn short cuts for all patterns so that you can your aptitude test within time.

Group discussion

·         Group discussion is the second level of recruitment.
·         Group discussion is conducted to check the communication skills, confidence, leadership qualities, body language, eye contact and creative thinking.
·         In group discussion, you should speak with confidence and boldness.
·         You should practice yourself in front of the mirror to give up your fear.
·         You should improve your communication skills by practice. You should speak whatever you are thinking in your mind but it should be relevant to the topic.
·         You should not dominate any one while speaking in the discussion. You should speak your points clearly and boldly. You should watch all the people’s speech and make points from it and speak according to them. You should make all people to focus you while you are speaking.
·         Some people may lag in communication if you are not able to speak in English you can speak in your own language with confidence. But you should try to learn English as quick as possible.

Technical round

·         Some company conducts this technical round to check your knowledge in your technical and subject knowledge.
·         You should prepare your technical part which is related to your subjects.
·         You should keep revising all the subjects which you have learnt from your school and college.

Personal Interview

·         Personal interview is the face to face recruitment process.
·         The Human Resource (HR) member or members will conduct the face to face interview so that they will check your communication skill, confidence level and boldness.
·         They can ask you to introduce yourself, family background and your project details.
·         They can conduct stress interview to check your self control. They can ask you some rude questions, stress based questions and they may also force you to sign in bond. You should agree whatever they are asking you to do.
·         You should be polite, self controlled and honest while you are facing the personal interview.
·         Your appearance should work there to create a good impression on you.
·         You should not express your fear in your face and your eye contact is very much important in face to face interview.
