Tomato Chutney is one if the main thing for our breakfast and for dinner (idlis and Dosas). Surely everyone will like tomato chutney. Now we will see how to prepare Tomato Chutney.

Ingredients of Tomato Chutney

Tomato Chutney Recipe
• 500 grams Tomato
• 300 grams small/big Onion
• 4 Red Chilly (If you need spicy mean add 2 0r 3 chilies extra)
• Few Mustard seed
• 10 - 20 Curry leaves
• 5 pieces garlic
• 50 ml Oil
• Salt to Taste

Preparation guide of Tomato Chutney


1. Chop the tomato into small pieces
2. Cut the onion into small pieces
3. Heat the oil in kadai
4. Fry the tomato first and keep it separately for grind with other Ingredients
5. Fry the Onion to up to it turns to golden brown
6. Then fry the red chilly also
7. Put the fried onion, tomato, garlic and chilly and grind it well and add the salt also for taste.
8. Now in the kadai heat the oil
9. Now put the mustard seed and fry it and put the curry leaves
10. Now put the grinded tomato paste in the kadai and stir it for a while.

Now the Tasty Tomato Chutney is ready to serve.
This will take around 20 minutes to prepare and it's very easy also.
