Actor Prithviraj Sukumaran is a well known Indian actor, producer especially famous for his works in Malayalam and Tamil. He was born in October 16,1982 in Thiruvananthapuram,Kerala to actors Sukumaran and Mallika Sukumaran.He started his carrier as an actor in 2002 in a Malayalam movie called ’Nandanam’ which was directed by Ranjith. He has acted in more than 70 films.In 2005 he entered into Tamil movie industry through ’kana kandaen’.
Recently he made his debut in bollywood through ‘Aiyyaa’ with the starring actress RaniMukerji.Prithviraj debuted in telugu through ‘Police Police’ in 2010.Also he owns a Production Company named ‘August Cinema ‘which was started along with Santhosh sivan and Natesan.Urumi and Indian rupee are the two movies produced by him in his production company. On 25 April 2011, Prithviraj married supriya Menon, a BBC India reporter in a private ceremony at palakkad.His upcoming movies are Celluloid, Aurangzeb. He has won several awards such as National film awards, Kerala state film awards, Filmfare, Asianet film awards, Mathrubhumi film awards and several other awards also.
